On 25th January, a team of 7 participants started bike ride from Pune to explore forts of Tikona and Tung near Lonavla region. The first destination was Tikona. It took around 1.5 hours to reach atop. The trail was easy and the weather was pleasant.
Beautiful Pawna lake with Tung fort at the backdrop, Lohagad fort, Visapur fort was seen from the top. After Tikona fort exploration, next destination was Tung fort. It took around 1.5 hours to reach the base village of Tung from Tikona. The ascend to Tung took around 1 hour. There was a small temple at the top. Tikona fort was now seen as backdrop of Pawna lake. The team returned back to Pune safely and content.
